Election 2026

Voter cards mail the week of Sept. 28, and you don't need one to vote

Cards should arrive the first week of October. Without one, bring accepted ID to a polling place in your ward.

The City of Windsor says voter notification cards for the 2026 municipal election go in the mail the week of Sept. 28 and should arrive in mailboxes the first week of October.

A voter card is not required to vote. If you don't get one, or it is lost, damaged or wrong, bring accepted identification to a polling place on Election Day or an advance voting day. Election workers can correct list errors at the polls.

This election uses vote anywhere in your ward: any designated polling location in your ward, not one assigned spot. Check WindsorElections.ca, Online Voter Services or 311 for locations. Voting Day is Monday, Oct. 26, 2026.
